A Recap of Christmas

Let me just start off with...Christmas was AMAZING!  Mini must have been a very good girl, because Santa went overboard on her.  He also came a day early, because he knew that daddy had to work all Christmas day.  I am so glad we celebrated Christmas on the Eve, because James got stuck at work until 10 pm!

On Christmas Eve morning, James and I woke up and exchanged gifts.  Mini also woke up to a first time surprise- Santa gifts!  She loves Dora, so Santa brought her a Dora ball pit (balls are her favorite as well, so double awesome!)  She got lots of other wonderful gifts, that you can see in the pictures below.  :)  My parents and sisters came over for breakfast and to watch Mini open her presents.  I made an egg omelette the night before, which turned out to be pretty darn good!

Christmas Eve night James' family came over.  Turducken was our main dish.  Yes I said Turducken.  It consists of rice and stuffing, inside a de-boned chicken, which is stuffed inside a de-boned duck, which is stuffed inside a de-boned turkey.  Crazy huh?  James' grandma brought homemade tamales and stuffing, and his aunt brought cowboy cookies (a hubs fav).  We had a great time visiting and opening presents.  I was so busy playing hostess, that I didn't get one picture! :(  I'm hoping James' dad got some.  It was a great time.

Christmas morning Mini and I went over to my parents house.  My aunt and cousins were in town from California, so it was great to see them.  We ate breakfast and opened presents.  Later that day we went over to my Grandma's house (GiGi) where the rest of my mom's family was.  GiGi sent us home with her homemade fudge, which is the best fudge in the world of course and my favorite!  It was a long couple of days, but absolutely wonderful.

Santa still visits me ;)

My family is so blessed.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
