Week 5.  Lots of new work jitters and pool time.

Sunday

A regular day of hanging out with my Mini, starting with donut holes from Daddy.  Later that day we got to see James' Aunt Ellen visiting from New Mexico.

Monday

I love to see what new hair style Daddy will come up with next!

Thursday

Mini wearing Daddy's flip flops.  A-dorable.  Me at work; we got to wear Mavs shirts and jeans.

Friday

My sweet chunky monkey.  She has been so good trying to feed herself with utensils.  Also, what would you do without technology nowadays?  Just chillin' watching Dora while I get her ready for bed.

Saturday

We spent all day poolside at my parent's house.  They have a really neat tanning bed in the pool which is perfect for Mini to sit in and play with her water toys.

Week 4.  This week includes a new job for me, and a trip to New Orleans for hubs and I.  There are lots of pics so I hope you enjoy!

Sunday
K got in trouble so she had to go in time out for a minute or two.  So pathetic looking!  We decided to retire her ball pit since she is pretty much over it, so we will take them back out in a month or two.  There are over 700 balls in that picture...crazy huh?  Later that afternoon I took Mini to a splash pad near my parents house.  She called the dolphins "whales." Later that evening we went to the hub's parents house for a birthday dinner.  K had fun playing on the keyboard.

Monday

My new view from work.  I only go in one day a week, which is going to be a huge difference for me!  I am super excited.  Aunt Nanny taught her to do "the look".  That's the look.  :)

Tuesday
No one is better at putting my daughter to sleep than my hubs.  I love them together.

Oh just a naked baby running around the house. ;)

Thursday

The morning of our New Orleans trip.  It was about 5:30 am, and she is still as happy as can be.  The other pics were sent to me from my mom and sister.  She was in such good hands while we were gone.

A hurricane from Pat O'Briens.  That sucker is strong.  The other pic is in an elevator after dinner at Nolas.  The food was to die for!

Friday

The upper left is a picture of the French Quarter firehouse.  The upper right is a courtyard that we found.  Really beautiful.  The bottom two are us in front of the St. Charles Cathedral.

Hubs and I took a ferry ride across the Mississippi.

Dinner at Dickie Brennan's Bourbon House for James' Marine buddy's retirement.  Another amazing meal!

Reunited with my beautiful Mini at last!  It was 3 long days and I missed her so much!

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day Weekend was so much fun!  James had the entire weekend off with me which made it even better.  Saturday morning we went to Panera Bread and then went grocery shopping.  I started cutting coupons recently (I even made a binder), so we had to go to a few different places to get the good deals.  I don't know how long I will stick with it, but it is really fun to save money (I will not be extreme couponing, don't worry :) ).  The puppies went to the groomers, and each lost about 5 lbs in hair.  They look amazing and smell great.  It is really sad that I seem to love my dogs more when the are clean and cut... :(  On Sunday we went to iHop, and James mowed the yard.  We bought Mini a play pool with a built in slide.  I almost took back the dang thing because she kept slipping and sliding all over the place.  We are going to have to wear water shoes the next time she plays in it.  We also bought her a water stand that has water toys to play with.  $70 later....she enjoyed the water hose best.  :) Figures.  James smoked out chicken and hot dogs, so we spent the rest of the afternoon in the backyard with a beer.  It was very relaxing.  On Memorial Day, we went over to my parent's house to enjoy their pool.  It has been a year since K had been in the pool, and last year she loved it.  She was pretty scared this time around, and we ended up spending most of our time on the tanning bed with her water stand.  Eventually, we put her back in her floaty and she had fun watching her Aunt Nanny swim under the water and surprise her with goggles on.
