Week 24: October 23-29, 2011

I'm lazy this week (actually extremely busy) so am not going to give a great description for each day.

This week we:

-went to the zoo

-went to an Oktoberfest party

-played at My Gym

-went to the pumpkin patch

-got hit by a boy at My Gym (caused a bloody nose and eye)

-watched the Rangers in the World Series

-Got dressed up to go shopping with Mommy and Grandma

-played at the park

-helped mommy make chocolate chip pumpkin bread

Pumpkin Patch

As I type this post, hubs and I are watching the Texas Rangers play in game 6 of the World Series.  This post has taken me 2 hours because I have to keep waving my towel when the Rangers score.  Not a bad thing.  :)

Last weekend my parents and I took Mini to the Pumpkin Patch.  She had so much fun running around, touching pumpkins, sitting on tractors, sliding, and riding in a wagon.  I remember taking her last year and all she did was sit and pose for pictures.  Not anymore, that's for sure!

Sunday

Showing off her new shirt from Gorgeous and Grandpa. Coloring some Dora in the afternoon.  Making some brownie chocolate chip dessert in the evening.

Monday

Rocking her jeggings and Toms.  So adorable!  That evening we celebrated Aunt Nanny's birthday at the Cheesecake Factory.

Tuesday

Taking some fall pictures at the Grapevine Botanical Gardens.  Finishing the night with Elmo on her iPhone.

Wednesday

Mini's new Halloween dress that Grandma made!  That afternoon we took her to the park for some sliding and swinging.

Thursday

My first Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season.  Mini having fun at Grandma's house.  Look at that angel...have you ever seen a more beautiful baby?!?

Friday

Mini's new fall wardrobe.  This kid isn't spoiled at all.

Saturday

Pumpkin patch!  And some motorcycle riding, too.  ;)

ABCs

This video causes me to tear up every time. I am so proud of my smart girl- barely 2 and she can sing her ABCs all by herself! Do I not have the smartest toddler alive? I sure think so! :)

Fall Sneak Peak

Hubs and I took Mini to the Grapevine Botanical Gardens for some fall pictures.  Later this week we are going to the pumpkin patch, but I couldn't wait to post some pics a little early.  :)  Enjoy the cuteness!

Week 22: October 9-15, 2011

Sunday

The morning was rainy and dark, so Mini and I snuggled on the couch and painted our nails.  She chose a sparkly purple.  Later that evening, Kat got mad at me so pushed her chair to the corner.  She was still able to watch TV.  ;)

Monday

My two favorites enjoying dinner and the Rangers game.  They're number 1!

Tuesday

Nothing makes me happier than this pic.  I have converted hubs to be an OU fan, and Mini is already in love with them.  Glorious.

Wednesday

Daddy took Mini to the zoo while I worked.  She enjoyed the carousel, a train ride, and seeing the monkeys.

Thursday

I completed a pinterest project I have been eyeing for quite some time.  I got out my paintbrush (actually, an old eye shadow brush) and went to down.  For dinner, hubs and I tried the new chicken place down the street called Raising Canes.  Haven't had it since I lived in Norman, around 5 years ago.  Doesn't K look adorable in her pink cowgirl boots??

Friday

My new iPhone!  I have waited for 2 long years and finally have a new phone, with an awesome camera.  You will notice an immense improvement in my iPhone pics from now on. :)

Saturday

The morning was taken over by serious shopping.  I got a bunch of Christmas presents for Mini, and a ton (I mean ton) of clothes for her for the fall.  She needed a new wardrobe and boy does she have one now.  Check out the adorable jeggins I found at Target.  Amazing.  Daddy took half a day off from work and took us to the zoo that afternoon.  The train was shut down (boo) but we still had a great time.  I got to ride the carousel with Kat, and she got a turtle tattoo at Texas Wild.  What a fun week it was!
