A Week in iPhone Pics

Week 28: November 20-26, 2011
You can tell when I am off of work by the amount of pictures I take... :)

Sunday
Morning jog with my sweetness.  Mean muggin' me during bedtime routine, and hugs from daddy before sleepy time.

Monday
Such a good little Mommy

Tuesday
This kid has the life...enjoying some cartoons in the morning

Wednesday
Trip to the zoo with Daddy and his friend, that evening we played with makeup at Sephora.  Such a girly girl.  Later that evening I started to get out the Christmas decorations.  My house exploded!

Thursday
Mini woke up to a pink Christmas tree in her room.  She was pretty excited.  That morning we went for a jog and ended up at the park.  Kat got to play with her cousin and friends, Jackson, Emma, and Holden.  It was a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.

Friday
A little shopping in the morning, followed by a jog in the afternoon.  Got all the Christmas decorations out.  I love this time of year!  Made my first attempt at decorating the tree with mesh, glitter, and giant ornaments.  It was extremely messy and exhausting, but I think I did a pretty good job.

Saturday
Breakfast date at iHop with Mini.  Daddy wishes he didn't have to work, he was jealous of our pancakes!  That afternoon I used my Groupon at the Indoor Safari Park.  Mini got to ride a elephant and  a train.  She was in heaven!

A Week in iPhone Pics

Week 27: November 13-19, 2011

Sunday
Got a jogging stroller, the infamous BOB.  Mini and I took it out for a spin and I love it!  That evening I started a new crochet project, a simple cowl.  Easy and fast, great for Christmas presents!

Monday
Play time at My Gym.  This kid is a bouncing fool!

Tuesday
Did you read Sundays?  Well, I finished the cowl! I told you easy and quick, and quite beautiful!

Wednesday
I went in to the office today, so Daddy got to dress Mini. I think he did a pretty good job.  :)

Thursday
Pho for dinner.  Soooo yummy.

Friday
Modeling her new scarf that Grandma made.  I was meant for a girl.  :)  That evening we went to a birthday party for her friends, Jack and Owen.  They had a bounce house, swing set, and sand box.  So much fun!

Saturday
Pumpkins and Pancakes at the zoo finally has arrived!  We met family and friends and had a great time.  There was a huge breakfast buffet, free train and carousel rides, and overall fun!  I am pretty proud of the pic with all the cousins in it, everyone is looking at the camera and smiling (except for the babies of course)!  That evening we celebrated GiGi's birthday.  Mini is so smart, she can already sing her ABCs, and knows 2/3 of the alphabet by letter already!

Santa at Bass Pro Shops

This weekend Bass Pro Shops had their "unveiling" of Santa Claus and his winter wonderland.  My mom, sister, and I took Mini up there to get pictures with Santa.  I know it is only the beginning of November, but I am already getting into the spirit of Christmas.  It was lots of fun watching Mini get excited to see Santa and Rudolph.  He arrived via diesel truck, sitting fat and happy on the driver seat of a ski boat.  Quite perfect, considering the location.  Bass Pro went all out; they had cookies and hot chocolate, a tree lighting ceremony, Christmas crafts (Kat colored her own stocking), and a reindeer carousel.  She had so much fun she rode four times.  :)  When it came time to getting our picture taken with Santa, Mini got pretty nervous.  She kept saying, "go bye bye?"  Poor thing wanted nothing to do with him when it was our turn.  Oh well, I knew this time would come....I was too lucky to be so successful the last two years.  If you haven't already, you should head on up there for your free picture with Santa.  That's right, I said free!

Happy Halloween!

Hubs and I had so much fun celebrating Halloween with our Mini.  She dressed up as Little Bo Peep, which is very appropriate considering her love (and collection) of lambs.  Hubs got into the spirit by dressing up as a biker and I wore some angel wings.  We started out the evening at My Gym, where they had a Halloween party for their members.  It was open gym play time along with snacks, drinks, and goody bags.  Everyone was dressed up in their costumes.  Mini had so much fun, the only way for me to get her to leave was telling her we were going to see her cousin Madison.  Later that evening we headed over to my parents house for trick or treating.  At first, she would sort through the bowls, pick some candy, then put it back.  It took her a while to realize that the candy was for keeps, then she got greedy.  Not that any of the parents cared.  ;)  After a while she got tired, and wanted to ride in her car.  That thing is a life savor, let me tell you.  She got so lazy in fact, we put her bag in the trunk (which is in the front of the car) and left it open, so people could just drop candy in it.  Talk about the life!  After trick or treating, we headed back to my parents house for pizza.  It was a great evening!
