Lately

I have been the worst blogger ever the past couple of months.  As usual, I have been slammed with work and have barely had enough time to keep up with the Week in iPhone pics.  It is my goal to post more often, and take more pictures with my DSLR.  Here's my start.

These pictures are from Kathryn's Little Lamb Ceremony.  The lighting is terrible (I seriously need to invest in an external flash) but I did the best I could.  I cannot get over how adorable the ceremony was.  They started out by introducing both classes, the Little Lambs (2 year olds) and the Shepherds (3 and 4 year olds).  The Lambs went first, singing and dancing to two songs.  The Shepherds followed with three songs that also included singing and dancing.  Awards were next.  Kathryn received the "Most Friendly" reward, because of how sweet and smily she is to everyone she meets.  What a proud mom moment!  She received a memory book that some of the moms put together for each kid.  Talk about hard work- Kathryn started the program mid year (February) and her book was still a half inch thick!  I am so sad that school is out for the summer- every day Mini asks to see her "Church Friends" and "Ms Brenda."  I will be ready for September for sure.

This past weekend we spent some time over at my parents while our realtor was having an open house at our home.  My mom and I went driving around, looking at houses, and Kathryn refused to go.  She wanted to stay and help Papa work on the lawn mower.  Doesn't sound like much fun to me, but she had a blast!  Check out the video at the end, I made the mistake of calling the lawn mower Papa's. :)
